The South Carolina Staffing Association (SCSA) is a non-profit trade association representing and serving the collective staffing industry in South Carolina. Through legislative advocacy, education, ethics and communication, SCSA diligently works to promote the interests of the staffing industry and its important role in the South Carolina economy. The association was formed in 1963 as South Carolina Association of Personnel & Staffing (SCAPS) but was renamed South Carolina Staffing Association (SCSA) in 2011. While the name has changed, the association’s main ideals have remained the same over the past 50 years: Professionalism, Certification, Education, Arbitration, Legislation, Ethics, Networking and Expansion/Growth.
SCSA is the South Carolina state chapter of the American Staffing Association and has been awarded American Staffing Association Legislative Awards every year since 2009.
Members of SCSA are comprised of professionals in the staffing industry across the state from national franchises, regional offices, local agencies, and sole proprietors. SCSA members provide a wide range of staffing services to businesses including light industrial, professional, direct hire and contract staffing. SCSA members are committed to their industry, maintain SCSA’s high code of ethics and represent the best in the staffing industry.
SCSA offers two levels of involvement in the association: Members and Industry Partners. Members are staffing/recruiting consultants or staffing firms licensed and registered in South Carolina. Industry Partners are selected businesses that are related or offer services to the staffing/recruiting industry. To learn more about becoming a member, click here.
